I would like to introduce you to my parents Tom and Ivy Palmer they are the proud parents of 4 children 2 boys and 2 girls & grandparents of 6,only 1 will be able to carry on the family name.

  My parents emigrated to australia in 1965 so now class themselfs as Aussies they got naturaliszed in 1994 after 29 years so they seally rushed into it didn't they.

Born in 1925 Tom had been a bus driver,truck driver and a plant operator before migrating. Since his arrival in Australia, he had been mostly employed as a plant operator, until an industrial accident ,forced him into early retirement.Which to my knowledge has been very good,that is untill the last 18-24 months when his health started to suffer,but i am glad to say that he is on the mend and starting to get around quite well.

Mom ivy was born in 1932,the same year as Vicki's father,mom worked in the UK but i cannot remember what type of work it was,When we arrive in  Australia moms main jobs were as a cook in a resteurant and as a lodge cook- manager until my father suffered his accident.
